Disadvantages of Biomass

Biomass has almost as many disadvantages as advantages, its up to you to decide which ones out weigh the other.
Disadvantages of biomass; 🙁
- Creates air pollution.
- May, if used too much, lead to deforestation.
- Is not very effective.
- Takes space to create burning industry.
- Still under development. (But may become much better)
Let’s look a little further into these points.
The reason biomass may lead to deforestation in simple. People would like a steady and more reliable source of fuel, therefore they will look towards burning wood instead of trash or other leftovers. If people use an exceeding amount of wood (which they are) we will lose the few forests we have left, for a cause, that I think is not exactly worth it. So, I believe the ideal situation would be biomass, but without burning entire forests for some fuel.
