  These are some of the major advantages of biomass. Here is some more information.
  Using biomass is a better way of disposing our trash than throwing it all on some random island. Biomass, if used in the right way can reduce waste that floats around in the ocean, it can be used to create a better environment for animals on land and below water. Having less waste on our planet will very rarely be a problem. Biomass releases gasses that are bad for the planet, but many groups and communities have been working on a smarter and more sustainable way to use biomass. In addition biomass, in its current state does pollute less than using fossil fuels and still gets rid of a large amount of our wastes that we don’t know where to put.
